Patterson Dental has partnered with Global Safety Management (GSM) to bring you AutoSDS, a new online database of Safety Data Sheets specific to your practice. AutoSDS will help you meet OSHA’s requirements digitally and allow you to put the focus back on your patients!

Avoid OSHA Fines:
For the last several years, Hazardous Communication violations are the second most common OSHA citation. Fines can be as high as $12,000 per day, per incident and up to $70,000 for repeated and willful violations. Remember, current and former employees can file anonymous complaints against your practice for violating HazCom regulations. AutoSDS is an online library that automatically updates and maintains your SDSs so you can remain compliant.

Save Time:
You can save time creating your SDS binder!  Your AutoSDS online database comes automatically loaded with SDSs (Safety Data Sheets) based on your Patterson Dental product purchases over the previous 5 years. As you make purchases through Patterson Dental, any product with an SDS is automatically added to your AutoSDS library.  You can also save time when creating a compliant Chemical inventory list.  As part of the AutoSDS solution, your practice will be able to instantaneously generate a Chemical Inventory List, as required by OSHA.  

Stay Compliant:
As manufacturers update their SDSs, your library will be updated with the latest version of the SDS PLUS the older versions will still be available, since you have to keep SDSs on file for 30 years. Employees can also easily search for SDSs by product name or manufacturer name by full or partial spelling to quickly access SDSs. If your practice transfers products into smaller dispensers you can also remain compliant by easily creating and printing secondary container labels.
