Saliva ejectors are low volume evacuator tips used to suction saliva from a patient’s mouth during preventive procedures. High volume evacuators (HVE) tips, also referred to as aspirator tips, are used to suction saliva and debris from the patient’s mouth during restorative and surgical procedures. These sturdy, hollow tubes can also be used to gently retract a patient’s cheeks. HVE tip filters and saliva ejector tips fit on the end of the evacuators and ejectors to filter out larger debris from getting caught in the vacuum.
